OHDA Executive Position Duties
President: Presides at meetings of the OHDA and of the Executive Committee
Vice-President: Acts in the place of the President when he/she is absent
Recording Secretary: Records the proceedings of the OHDA and the Executive Committee.
Corresponding Secretary: Conducts correspondence on behalf of the OHDA. Responsible for booking venues, judges and pipers for events.
Treasurer: Custody of the Seal and of all money and other properties or securities belonging to the OHDA
Registrar: Responsible for receiving and recording of the entries; creating of class sizes based on category and age.
Games Committee Chair: Responsible for all activities associated with the running of the competitive events.
Quartermaster: Responsible for the OHDA’s equipment – acquisition, maintenance, disposal, storage and set up at events.
Ways and Means Committee Chair: Responsible for the fundraising, sponsorship and related events.
Social Convenor: Responsible for the organization of the sale of refreshments at all events.
Trophy Convenor: Custodian of all trophies, medals, ribbons and certificates. Publicity Convener & Webmaster Responsible for raising awareness of the OHDA’s activities among members and the community
Chief Scrutineer: Responsible for arranging and supervising volunteers for scrutineering and marshalling at the competition
Webmaster & Publicity Convenor: Responsible for managing the OHDA website and social media accounts
